these glasses are nice and light weight and they feel pretty decent. however, they don't block blue light in the least and they also reflect my eye back at me a little bit. while they have a nice profile, they don't work for the purpose i bought them for and seeing my own eye makes it difficult to concentrate. i even compared them to a set of legitimate blue light blocking glasses and the difference was indescribable.look elsewhere if you value your eyesight and sleep.
they used to be good but they changed the lens around july. the lens now has a purple/gold tint on them which makes them unattractive. not to mention , they also added a reflective coating on the lens. tough because i would buy these quarterly.for reference, the top pair is the ones they are selling now the bottom pair is the ones they used to sell.
i ordered these because they were cheap, and i was having some eye strain issues while working on projects.these glasses do, in fact, block blue light.however, the cheap plastic lenses reflect any light which is in your periphery or behind you, making it very hard to focus on the screen. this one flaw is major, and makes these more of a hindrance than helpful.only pro: they look kinda nice.would not recommend to anyone having eye strain issues.
the glasses reflect everything on the inside of the glasses, it’s like i’m staring directly into my eyes. these are very cheap but i get a headache from 2 minutes of wearing them because i can’t focus between what’s in front of me, and what’s reflecting behind me.
looks good for its price and definitely lowers the strain on eyes, definitely helpful for high screen time users. i found two minor inconveniences, something to be expected for this price tag:#1 after a few hours, the ears start hurting so continued usage is an issue.#2 these are highly reflective, my screen activity is quite literally visible to other participants on a video call.overall it’s a good buy. expecting the quality of premium brands would be a stretch. these eyeglasses deliver on it’s price tag. basic protection and lower strain on eyes, light weight and seem durable (have lasted a few weeks of heavy usage with no visible wear and tear).
since most of the world has moved to online learning because of covid, i decided to try these blue light blocking glasses so i could potentially reduce any eye strain.starting with the pros:these glasses are pretty stylish, the design is popular and this is one of the cheaper ways to get glasses in this style without having to dish out a lot of money for name brands. alongside that, paying about $17 (at the time of my purchase) for glasses, a carrying case, and a cleaning cloth isn't that bad of a deal.cons:firstly, the adjustable nose pads of these glasses, although being a nice feature compared to an integrated nose pad are not easy to adjust and i still haven't been able to get them to a comfortable position. that's not really the fault of the glasses since it would be impossible to make these fit everyone, but be aware that you might have to spend a decent amount of time adjusting them before you'll feel comfortable wearing them for extended periods of time. moving on from that, i noticed that there is a lot of reflection in these glasses, i can see my pupils reflected and it can be quite distracting. finally, i'll be honest, after having worn these for about a week, i can't say that i've noticed any noticeable difference in how my eyes feel at the end of the day, i should have been suspicious when i didn't notice any orangish tint commonly found on other reputable blue light blocking glasses.overall, i would recommend looking into other options for blue light blocking glasses if you're also looking at screens all day, but these would function as decent fake glasses if that's what you want.
