extremely thin padding, does not provide any protection from bumps or drops. snug fit otherwise for a laptop. will work fine as a cover if you are looking for protection better to avoid.
nothing really to complain about. it does what it needs to do it's fairly spacious and holds my macbook pro and ipad with no struggle. i do wish was a bit more protective (case itself has no structure and is pretty fimsty but its cushioned so it ok for a carryon backpack with a laptop sleeve) and was water-resistant but if you need something quick its good for the time being.
it does the job in ptotecting from scratches but it is very thin. i use it to cover my laptop while moving it on occassion and while traveling but i don't think it will protect it from falls.
