i got this product today and tested it out. all of the lights were solid green indicating it was on and connected, but it did not pick up any audio at all further than 5 feet away.idk about all these reviews but i would spend a little extra for something that you can use more than 5 feet away.
good not great. range is meh — which makes you wonder why you need it if it’s only a dozen feet or so, but a slight upgrade over all the background noise of a phone without a mic.
are they better than what is built into the iphone? sure, if you're outside an arm's distance from the phone. they do have some crinkling noises occasionally and there doesn't appear to be anything touching or moving the unit so apparently even if you are absolutely still, you can still get some noises you don't need. thankfully it isn't all the time, but if you're looking for a long term solution, id spend more money for something better.
