kind of pointless to buy. the only thing it will protect your laptop from is spills.there are three kinds of laptop cases as far as i'm aware. snap on hardshell cases, hardshell sleeves, and flexible pillowy sleeves like this one. regardless of what style of laptop protection it is that you prefer, this flexible pillowy laptop sleeve doesn't have nearly enough pillow in it to protect your laptop from any kind of impact.
i bought this for my 15.6 laptop which measures 17 diagonally. you can see it on top of the sleeve in the first photo, it is enormous! in the second photo, you can see it measures just shy of 19 diagonally.the laptop slides around and is thus less protected than one that is designed to properly fit this size of a laptop. unfortunately, the description and title for this listing are inaccurate and i am returning this item.
cover is little more than a thin protection for laptop. expected way more neoprene cushioning vs. very thin layer that will provide no protection. the throw away packaging foam inside the cover i'll end up keeping inside to actually give my computer some drop protection.
it is very cheaply made and of low quality. it provided almost no protection to my laptop when it was sitting in my bag. this meant that i had to spend 200 dollars on a new screen. seriously just go with something of higher quality it will be worth it and your tech will be safer.
no protection what so ever, case did not fit the design of laptop it said it was compatible with. used the computer twice, one drop and the screen is cracked...no protection...
i ordered the 15.6 for an hp envy x360 2-in-1 15.6 inch. this thing is gigantic and way to big. it's like a greeting card in an oversized envelope. laptop slides around and does not protect. quality of the sleeve is alright. just wayyyyy to big.
this sleeve is too big for the 2018 macbook pro 15. it is at least 1 1/2 inch too wide and 1 1/2 inch too tall. the laptop does not fit snug and the padding is too thin. even with placing it inside another bag, i don’t think it will be protected. returning this, but it is a real inconvenience. the whole idea of ordering on amazon is to save time and to have it delivered to my doorstep. now, i have to print out a return slip and take it over to ups to send it back. not happy about this. amazon should pay back double for the inconvenience!
this thing is way too thin and has not nearly enough padding. i guess it works to keep your laptop clean, but the protection value is minimal. i would definitely not use this for traveling. not at all what i was hoping for.
