this is definitely not waterproof. i had a poland spring water bottle break at the bottom in my book bag. my macbook and ipad were in this case... and water got in and completely ruined my macbook. i was seriously devastated. not to mention my laptop case was drenched and the fur inside didn't make it easier for the case to dry completely. so no, not waterproof. i would not recommend this case if you're looking for water resistant or water proof laptop cases, this only serves as a regular case if you need something basic. the color i got gets dirty easily so i would get a color that you can't see get dirty.
had a laptop case for about 2 years, never really take my mac outside of the house, today i went to a family member's house and brought it. i got caught in a light rainstorm and only went from the car to the house, with in that time period mac took on 3 to 10 smudges of water causing the touch bar to not work now. so thanks to your false add, i have to buy a new laptop since all the computer's best settings work through that part of the laptop. do not show any water in your advertisement if it's not true!!! very unhappy and will not buy ever again.
would’ve been a great sleeve if it arrived undamaged. i received a refund after returning proof of the issue, but it is still prompting me to review the item. color and image is accurate at least, just hope your mailer doesn’t cut it in half.
this did not protect my new mac book pro - it was inside a business bag and the bag slipped on the chair and wham, everything fell out. my laptop now has a nice rough spot on the corner. the laptop also caused this sleeve to have a hole in it. fortunately, i have apple care so if the computer stops functioning i can return it. but i'm very sad that i have a physical scar on my very expensive laptop - it was only 1 month old too.
