we hoped to use it for in store events at a retail shop. the small ice tray only holds enough ice to fill 2 glasses. it will make more ice but there’s about 15 mins of time to make enough for the next glass. we tried moving the ice to a freezer as well but it freezes together into one big chunk. overall this is just for at home. however for at home it is noisy and gets more noisy over time as parts get dusty and used.pros: ice starts in 6 mins then you’ll have enough ice for a glass in 20 mins from start. it makes small crushed ice that is easy to chew. it also doesn’t need cleaned too often.con’s: it’s noisy machine. it’s slow to make ice and won’t keep up with demand of a dinner party or any guests.overall it’s more for personal use if you’re just tired of making ice manually.
i love the color and machine, however it did get a little noises over time as well as it stopped working one day outside of the date to return. it lasted about 2 yrs.
loud and the ice never feels completely frozen, ice always looks wet like it isn’t getting quite cold enough (i know it’s water and that sounds weird but only way i know to say it).
when i first got this machine it was noisy but acceptable, no worse than a mini fridge running. 3 weeks in the pump is extremely loud. the machine has a low water light but doesn’t protect itself from running the pump dry.i think i’ll go back to the name brand.
stops making ice for no apparent reason. it keeps requesting for me to add water, although there's water already in the machine. i would not recommend buying this unit.
ice gets made then melts promptly. this machine makes its presence known as it continuously rumbles and the fan is always going. this would would be a great present to someone who likes ice and has difficulty hearing.
it started working good i got it in march but now is may and it started making a really loud noise and no return policy after 2 months i can’t even contact the seller
i really wanted to love this ice maker like in the first almost year, but it is disappointing. it worked well, but is kind of noisy. you get used to that. the ice melts extremely quickly in beverages, even fridge-cold drinks. my main issue is that the piece that flips the finished ice into the basket keeps coming off on one side. it is very difficult to reach, and complicated to do with such a small space to work. i would say, buyer beware. mine still works, but is hard to repair frequently.
we bought this cute countertop ice maker back in may of 2022. used it for two years off and on during large parties and family gatherings. sadly, when we brought it out this may, it started to make this terrible loud grinding sound. while it was still making ice, you had to turn it off immediately. after unplugging it for a bit, it would stop and then start right back up. it then started affecting the ice making. sadly i had to threw it out. buyer beware. if you are looking for a short term solution that only lasts a few times making ice, then go for it.
the idea of this machine is great, but the reality isn't not great.1. the machine makes 2 types of bullet ice small and large. it does make both but when the ice drops into the very small tray the ice melts extremely fast.the ice maker would be a lot better if there was a freezer for the ice.even if you get to the ice right when it drops and but it in water the ice is gone within 30 seconds.2. the ice tray sits over the water tank. if you u slightly overfill the water tank it also melts the ice faster.3. the motor on the unit is loud and blows a lot of heat.my reccomendation - buy ice bags from the store or get the simple solution and buy ice trays. this unit was not worth the cash
this ice machine is great for camping the only complaint myself and wife have is that it is a little on the loud side especially at night. other then that great machine
just bought this ice maker about 2 weeks ago and is already making a loud noise sounds like somthing is broken . when sucking the water in its so loud that i have to unplug it so that it doesn't wake up my son at night .
i loved this ice machine. i’ve had it for a year now. roughly two months ago it started getting loud. the fan sounded louder like it was getting ready to blast off. this morning i came downstairs and it stopped working. i have tried all the remedies including turning it on and off. unplugging it for a period of time. cleaning it, etc. nothing is working. sad this product only lasted a year!!!
the quality of the ice is poor. the ice is half melted by the time it finishes the cycle, ice sticks together and isn’t as frozen as ice should be. the machine itself sounds like you’re running an air fryer. thought this could be defective so i contacted customer support last week and haven’t heard back yet. wish i could return. two stars because it is producing some sort of ice that i can still use but one bucket fills up two cups
