the lenses are fine, but the pictures of the glasses are actually what you get - there isn't a spring hinge on these glasses and for those of us with sensitive skin they create a red mark within minutes of wearing.
these glasses break within days of light use. the hinges crack and then completely break. i'm already on the 3rd pair. i'm going back to the cheap dollar store glasses because they last 100x longer than these garbage glasses.
i use these for working out in my shop, so they get some scratches on the lenses easily. i don't think they have any coating on them. i always have a soft clean cloth in my pocket to clean them when needed. they are comfortable and can be worn for hours since they have spring hinges.the last set that i bought seemed to have a black coating on the plastic bows. after a few hours of using them the coating started to peel off and stick behind my ears.but for my needs, these are cheap and work well. i have better reading glasses when i am in the house.
i don't have any experience with these glasses but they look to be very similar to those sold in the dollar store for$1.25 + tax. neither have a spring hinge as would be the case with a more expensive frame.
