these are terrible. they constantly smudge even when i dont touch them, they fog up, they dont block very much blue light and are basically like a pair of glasses from target. spend an extra $20 for a legit decent pair.
these are not great blue light glasses if that’s what you’re looking for. they hardly filter anything out compared to an old pair i have. they do however feel very sturdy and seem to be built very well. so if you need a nice looking pair of glasses for cheap, then these could work.
tested these against multiple laptop, desktop, and monitor screens and no blue light was even showing on the test pad. bought these because i had suddenly been getting migraines for 5mo and these did not help (wasn't the problem to begin with albeit).
these glasses don't block blue light ( or not enough to be effective). there should be a yellow tint to the lens for it to be effective. i compared it with my other pair and there seemed to be no color difference for these. i wanted to get these for the nose pads since my other one keeps falling down my face, but i ended up returning.
they look nice and all but my eyes still feel strained after hours of use. not to mention that it sometimes feels impossible to get smudges out of the lenses even with eyewear cloths. i've used other brands that claim are made to block the blue light from screens and they indeed feel better than these, it's that they don't look better than these. i'd say this is more style than substance.
glasses are cute but i got them for blue light but i noticed that on the top of the glasses the blue light made a mark on the card they gave me but other then that it’s cute
i'm not exactly sure how to use the card, so i shinned the blue-light onto the card and put my glasses on to see if it would change colors, but it barely did. but i tried shining the light through the glasses and onto the card and the card didn't change colors (meaning the blue light didn't go through), so the glasses might be blocking the blue light. i tried this technique with other glasses and the blue light went through the glasses and onto the card.
these do not block blue light. simply google blue light glasses - tests - and you will see these glasses do not block blue light and are a scam. the card test does not block blue like, but violet light. not the same. ess cee aye em.
so let me be clear, these glasses are great style and durable for the price, i have had them for a couple of months now still in great shape. however, they are not “blue” light filter glasses, they might block uv light, but i would only recommend these if you are buying for fashion, great glasses for fashion, horrible at blocking blue light. 5/5 for style. 0/5 for false advertising and no blue light filtering.
the glasses were much larger than i expected, and i'm not sure they have actual blue light protection. most blue light glasses i've seen have a tint where you can tell they're legitimate and that isn't there on these. the design is nice and all that but overall i would've gone with another product in hindsight.
