spare yourself the disappointment and do not buy this model (h618f) of govee leds !!as you can see in the 1st photo, the leds are extremely spaced out and tiny. plus the major that i failed to notice was that the number of leds per a meter (#led/1m) is not clearly advertised. for ideal lighting and quality, it’s often said that a minimum of (60leds/1m) is ideal. however, this model is in no way near that.i am honestly surprised govee would even sell such a low quality product in comparison to their nicer options.beware, it can be hard to distinguish between models on amazon due to there being so many listings. however, there’s a clear difference in quality.as you can see in the 2nd and 3rd photos, we unknowingly purchased 2 different models simply because we were looking for different lengths of leds.i would recommend the 2nd model (h619e) shown as it is a bit better in quality for practically the exact same price. however, keep in mind, i do not believe either model is anywhere near (60leds/1m). we will be keeping the 2nd model as it is reasonable quality considering the price point.
should have gotten a picture but a foot of leds don't work on blue mode. other parts of led are off color to the rest. unfortunately, didn't notice till installed and removed the paint getting them off. so now have to repaint room too. awful experience
i have installed many govee lights before but this one has 2 major issues …1. there is no silicone clear coat on the bulbs - it’s very thin wire much like the less expensive duplicates on amazon2. the bulbs themselves are spaced much farther apart … about 2 1/4 inches between each bulb - which means - unless there is good depth - it will glow as small circles - not evenly as you see in the fancy picshave to return them
