bought this for my dell 11 inch laptop and it is a very tight fit. being that its made out of neoprene with a felt like interior this item keeps my laptop way to hot if i put it away right after using it. don't even think about putting your laptop in here if you have it on sleep mode to go from one class to another because it will fry your laptop. the side pockets are sewn so tight there is no way you can get anything bigger than a charging cord in them (i have a very slim mouse and cannot close the zipper when i place it in the pocket). the fabric is nice i will give them that but they need to ditch the excess felt, make the item just a bit bigger and give the pockets some room.
i bought this sleeve because i had just bought a new laptop and needed to be able to take it with me from my hotel to a coworking office every day for a week while traveling for work. while protecting it from minor jostling and small amounts of precipitation/humidity were most important, having a handle also was very important, as i was not always able to put it in another bag. this seemed like a good everyday bag as well as good for travel, and the reviews were positive.the good:there seems to be an adequate amount of padding in this bag. at the very least, it provides the amount of protection i generally expect from a laptop sleeve.i didn't test the waster resistance very much, but i did have to walk a few minutes through heavy snow a couple of times, and there was no resulting moisture inside the bag or on my computer.the bad:one side of the handle has come more than halfway detached. after only a week of use. and though i did have to carry the bag by the handle for a few minutes here and there, i did not use it excessively. and what is a handle for, if not for carrying and allowing you to pull the sleeve/laptop out of another bag? i didn't add much to the bag (as other reviews and responses to questions pointed out, there's not a lot of extra storage space), so there was no undue weight. besides the laptop, i only carried a charger, a usb drive, and a mouse.i now suspect that the rest of the sleeve is as poorly constructed as the handle (you get what you pay for, as they say), so it looks like i am in the market for a new laptop sleeve. voova laptop sleeve for 15- 15.6 inch macbook air | macbook pro 2016 ,15 inch macbook pro retina, dell xps 15, hp, lenovo, asus acer 360° protective carrying case, spill-resistant, gray
i initially chose this product because i liked the style and other features. the zipper pouches were only able to hold my laptop charger and mouse. it would have been nice to have a little more space for storage, but it sufficed. i like to take care of my things, and treated it carefully when carrying it with me. i regularly used it everyday and was pretty happy with it, until today i noticed that the handle is pulling apart and becoming loose. i bought it 6 months ago. i'm disappointed it didn't last longer.
