the amount of information about this equipment is so negative. don’t do list is long and off putting. set up is actually simple once you get past all the warnings.the amount of water that can be put into the machine is not anywhere close to what i expected. the amount of ice made is laughable. it took three “cycles” to get enough ice to fill an 8oz water bottle.that said, it’s better than nothing. i’m not planning on returning it. when it needs to be replaced, i’ll be looking for something a lot bigger, that can be attached to the faucet of the sink or something like that. something that makes enough ice for a few people to have cold drinks at one time. either a commercial ice maker or a refrigerator with a freezer and ice maker built into it. big bucks and lots of effort for little return.
