glasses look great, price is nice, but frames cracked after a week or so of use.this is my second time purchasing these glasses and i've had the same experience both times. i thought i might have gotten an unlucky set the first time so i gave it another try. for the price i was willing to take a chance. after wearing the glasses for about a week the left lense suddenly dropped out while i was wearing them on examination i could see that the lower left bottom of the frame had cracked. the same thing happened with the second pair of glasses in the same spot. i'll note that i wasn't doing anything strenuous or putting any stress on the glasses, just standing there, heard a snap, and out fell the lense. i have three more pairs but past experience doesn't give me much confidence in the integrity of these glasses. much as i'd like to reccomend them based on looks and price, i can't. my advice is, if you use these glasses, is to carry a back up pair.
these glasses are a bargain, but they will not last under continuous use. eventually every pair will develop a crack in the frame above one of the lenses and the lense will fall out.
this is the second set of eye glasses i purchased off of them and the same thing keeps happening. the eye glass that holds the lens in keeps breaking and the glass falls out. you would think i would have learned my lesson on the first set i bought but no i had to buy another set of glasses and the same thing happened the lens falls out! no more buying eye glasses from them.
i thought by purchasing a five pack since i constantly miss place reading glasses in my workshop, would be a good idea. the fact that i have broken three pair in a months time seems counterproductive. the frames are quite fragile. once the lens pops out, forget about fixing the frame even with superglue.
you’re better off spending nine dollars on a pair at the grocery store. or getting them at the dollar store. or try big lots. these are so cheaply made the ears come loose or break constantly. you spend more time repairing them, then wearing them. the more you repair them the more they keep falling apart coming undone and then eventually breaking.
the glasses work fine as reading glasses. the problem is, and it’s a big one, the frames are very flimsy and the frames break with just normal ware causing the plastic glasses to fall out of the frame. once the glasses fall out of the frame it’s impossible to glue back together because the flames are so flimsy.
the frames broke and lenses popped out on two pairs of glasses in less than a month. i have had other brands at comparable price that were far more durable.
