loved this laptop sleeve for my middle schooler - he is a bit casual with his backpack so we wanted to add some protection for his school laptop- if you have kids you know why. this sleeve provides the protection his laptop desperately needs to see another school year. after 1 month of use, the main zipper slider came off completely. we are not able to put it back on and now his laptop is in danger once again -
it's very roomy for a laptop that fits 15.6. there's about 2 inches between the edge of my laptop and the zipper. it's well padded and fuzzy inside, so i don't think it would get hurt but who knows.
i purchased this case for a 2020 16 macbook pro, and cannot recommend.the quality of the materials is decent, but it offers little in the way of shock protection, and most importantly, there is a 2-3 finger gap on all three sides of the case, meaning the laptop is constantly sliding around inside the case during transit, and is at greater risk of damage if dropped. i appreciate the side pouch for holding the charger and cables, but that's the only positive.bottom line, if you're spending $2000+ on a laptop, skip this case and buy a better one.
