i thought this would be a hard shell case: it not a hard shell case. also, while my laptop fits in it, the is no room for the charging cord or transformer or even a wireless mouse.
this case is not what you need. no space for a mouse or charging gear, no soft interior to protect your laptop, handle seems loose. i have paid a lot of money for my laptop, i don't want it scratched up by a badly placed zipper. give this one a pass.
i have a 17.3 hp envy laptop. there is only enough room for the laptop. charger fits but makes case lumpy. will keep, my daughter's smaller laptop make more room to fit charger to the side.
this case is small as in depth. just big enough to hold my laptop but not the power supply. it has a zipped storage net on the top and a open one on the bottom good for small stuff like papers, thumb drives and whatnot etc etc. i bought it just for storage/protection from 2 cats and dog for my origin eon-17 v2 gaming laptop which is heavy as lead but fairly thin at less than an inch and there is absolutely no room for a psu brick, mouse or headset. but works fine for my needs as a cheap means of keeping my laptop safe from pets.
great product if you are looking to protect your laptop while is transported, the sleeve do not have room for the charger and mouse!! also do not fit in a regular back pack.
it shoulld work wth most 17 inch laptops(eluktronics max-17 fits snugly), and even 15.6 inchers with thick bezels(ideapad y700, same here). however, thhere is simply no space for the ac adapter...unless you do not care about unsightly bulges. well, there are spaces, but since ac adapters for 17 in laptops are usually heavy and large, there will always be a protrusion outward the case, no matter where you place t. technically you could put iit side to side with the laptop, but there goes the bulge. too bad!
it fits my aero 15 however it leaves almost no room for my mouse and charging cable.the protection this offers is slightly better than an all cloth bag with the plastic top/bottom.
