the sleeve seems to have adequate quality for the price it carries. it does not smell at all, which is a big plus. and it has soft inner liner to protect the screen. however, the sleeve is too soft, there is not enough padding or reinforcement to protect the screen from damage.
this cover is well made and it fit the monitor well. but i can't help but acknowledge that the protective-ness of this cover is questionable at best. it'll protect the monitor from spills and rain for sure, but any padding is pretty much non existent. it's floppy and not ridgid at all. and any drop or bump would be like the monitor didn't have any cover at all except maybe saving some scratches. overall, it's basic. it covers your monitor and keeps it dry and safe from scratches, not much else.
i thought this nice big bag would be good for a 17 laptop as advertised. oh well. you can get the laptop into the bag (barely) and then the magnetic catches on the flap won't close.so beware. smaller items like a 15 laptop are fine. (i didn't try a portable monitor).another issue --- this is not a protector, it has no padding and the material is thin (and the outside is a bit cheesy). more like a dust cover. so you'll want to put the package into your briefcase or backpack.but then why bother? backpacks today very often come with a padded laptop compartment. or just buy a real laptop case instead.three stars but really not recommended.
this case, will keep your monitor clean and dry, but it has no padding or physical protection for the monitor. its just a bag, barely thicker than cloth. things happen when traveling or on the road with devices and i need something to protect the monitor from a reasonable accident and this case won't. sorry, not a fan.
this monitor sleeve is really basic. it doesn't even have a pocket for wires. it doesn't have any padding so your monitor needs a padded bag or backpack to carry it in.
