i had purchased a similar product for a different laptop size (13) and i went to purchase the same item, but i feel the quality over time has gone down. the inside does not have any padding of any kind to protect the laptop. i find that the outside is a cheaper material but at the same time it would provide exterior protection from a scratch but not from a drop or water or temperature or anything else. will probably return for another more suitable one. size wise it is mostly fine.
it’s thin and not very well cushioned, and around the edges there isn’t any cushion at all. it’s a little lose for the newest version of macbook air, and it should have a tighter fit.
purchased based off of all the good reviews and it being an 'amazon's choice' product. no. just, no. i found it to be light and flimsy, with barely any cushioning. wouldn't have trusted it to protect my laptop in a fall. returned and received refund promptly.
i was expecting the case to be a little thicker in terms of padding. it also feels cheaply made to the point that i would not trust my laptop to be in the sleeve without a hard case. cute color though!
