it is fairly light, but after using it just for a few days, the handle stopped retracting smoothly. it is really annoying that it doesn't retract when i need to put it under the seat or up on a compartment. the reviews i saw on the amazon site were written before use. i realize those cannot be trusted.
immediately after i bought this suitcase the long handled started getting stuck. i would be unable to compress it while boarding and trying to store it in the overhead causing very stressful situations. this did not live up to the quality i expected
i thought i was going to love this. simple easy and durable. yet not even a year and a half into owning i cannot zipper the main compartment and lock it as the zipper is now broken. also the handle at the top does not slide down easily making boarding very difficult on an airplane. i’m now going and looking at new suitcases but will stay away from this brand.
used for a few months but handle has an issue getting stuck in the extended position. was at the beginning of a one month long trip. needless to say it was a pain.
they are nice, the wheels work great but i did one trip and already both pieces are scratched up and dented. now to be fair this isn’t all the suitcases fault the airport handles banged it about, but we know this so the suitcase should be sturdier and certainly not so easy to scratch up i’ve had hard shelled cases before and this one def damages too easily
after the second trip i went to lower the handle and it’s stuck up. i can’t get it down-even a few flight attendants tried to help me.otherwise it’s great-not sure how i’m gonna fly back if they do t let me…
i bought this bag in november 2022 and really like the bag for the way it looks. it's super clean and has a great aesthetic. i barely use the laptop compartment like i thought i would, to be honest. i'm most disappointed by the handle - after only a few months of use, the handle gets stuck. i can jiggle it around and get it to go down on its own after about 20 seconds, but it's rather annoying.i've contacted their support team and hopefully will get a replacement.
i tested a number of similar styles and out of those this seemed the best. once we packed however i noticed it does not fit as much as other similar sized. the handle often gets stuck and is hard to push down. also the area inside where the handle is takes up a chunk of space and make it difficult to pack. if you have a full case packed it's almost impossible to actually fit a laptop in the pocket let alone anything else. it's ok for small trips but definitely not a great purchase
the luggage itself is great - very durable, nice clean look, and rolls nicely. the only setback i noticed soon as i was trying to put it in my car. there is only one handle on the top. none on either side or on the bottom. so i had to grab the wheels to load the luggage into my car. i’m dreading having to load the luggage into the overhead bc there’s nothing on the side to grip on. i’ll have to grasp the wheels again to load. good thing it didn’t rain bc then i’d be gripping wet, dirty, muddy wheels. yuck! it’s a simple fix by just adding a side or bottom handle. poor simple ergo design faux pax.
this suitcase is very small. i took off one star because it only has one handle to pick it up (on the top) it does not have a handle on the side. it rolled very easily and it lightweight but it is very small. i could not put my laptop in here because my clothes took up my space. if you are a small sized person with small clothes and do not take too many shoes, this bag is perfect for you.
i purchased this because it was the right size and price and said “free returns: this item can be returned for free for any reason in new and unused condition within 30 days, no charge.”the bag is great looking but it’s a little front heavy due to the front zipper compartment and it does not have a side handle to assist with lifting into overhead bin.when i tried to process my free return, i was only given one free option - kohl’s drop off. all other options came with a $7 fee. however, nyc does not have a kohl’s. after several calls to amazon to get a free return, i was forced to pay $7 to return the suitcase despite each representative acknowledging that it is misleading on amazon‘s part.amazon claims that they will allow you one free return option based on your shipping address. i guess they thought i should have taken a $10-15 lirr ride out to a kohl’s in the burbs for my “free” drop off.
suitcase is okay. you can tell it’s cheap. the handle had issues from day 1 and i was lazy to return it and now i’m stuck with being jammed and can’t fit into the airplane. totally worthless purchase
handles gets stuck while fully extended, which sucks when you're boarding and annoying people while trying to get your luggage to fit in the overhead bin. only worked well for one trip. tried wd40 but it didn't help--i expected better quality at this price. wrong dimensions for some airlines as well. the laptop pocket doesn't work very well either, i feel like it's wasted space and you would be better served by carrying your laptop in a backpack instead. aesthetically, it's a nice looking bag and seems somewhat durable apart from the handle.
we have 2 sets of these for my husband and i. we love them and the colors we got. the zippers are fine, they can take a beating, but it gets super embarrassing when you’re trying to put your carry on above you and the handle jams up and won’t go down. saw other reviews of this happening as well. it eventually goes down with wiggling but both carry on bags started doing this.
i really love this set. i love having a spot for my laptop in the carry on bag. it’s super convenient when going through tsa to just pull it out. i love the way the bag looks, but i travel a lot and i’ve had the suitcase for a few months now and the wheels kind of suck. they’re cheap and weak. they get caught easily and cause me to trip over the bag which is not fun when i’m rushing through the airport i flipped over it one timebecause the wheels just gave out. the handle on the larger bag is really short which is fine but the carry on bag handle that pulls out seems like very cheap thin plastic that could break at any moment which sucks because of course everyone uses a backpack of an other bag to loop through it.i wish the wheels could be replaced, i looked into trying to doctor it myself but i can’t figure it out. i know i will have to get another bag soon but i’m hoping this at least lasts a year. most suitcases shouldlast a few years but i’m a little skeptical
