the title says it all. the optical quality of lenses is rather poor. objects go in or out of focused depending on exactly what part of the lens you were looking through. the frames are so flimsy that they break after about three weeks of light use.
i am going to have to order more readers, and i haven't had these for very long, a month or two. two lost an arm in the first two weeks, last week a lens popped out of a pair. i thought i was stocked up for the year, thought wrong.
frames almost seem to be possessed since every one broke in almost the exact same spot.they broke while wearing them, not putting on or off.take and extra pair if you leave the house.
i’ve bought 50-60 pairs of these readers over the years. good value. they last until you put them in your pocket and the cheap plastic frame breaks. i don’t mind because they are so cheap, but today i think i’ll try another brand.
nice glasses but the frame around the lens constantly crack. don't seem to hold up much more than a month. may have to find another seller and hope for longevity!
they aren't as strong as the ones i already had which were 125. these aren't near as clear as i hoped. i know i need 150s but these are so weak. watching tv with these a def no. they look nice on and i love the sunglasses but i can't read with these.
these are plastic glasses with a large black frame. that frame is visible in your field of view especially in the bottom half. for the price these are okay. the five pairs last a few months at most before the small screws become dislodged allowing the arms to fall off. i have bought these glasses twice before and on every single pair in each order the left arm has fallen off because the micro screw has come out. i attempted to super glue this screw back in temporarily but that does not work. you are shopping for any sort of quality, you should quickly pass on these. at most, these might make an okay set to throw some extra reading glasses in the car, around the house or in the rv. just do not expect them to last very long at all
i broke two almost immediately by dropping them from a height of less than 3 feet (they fell off a tv tray).the part that holds the lens is very thin and brittle. i was very careful from that point onward, but just had one of the two remaining break *while wearing them*.i was reading and the part of the frame holding the lens just broke with a noticeable sound. it seems to me the lenses are held with too much tension in the frame. other than that they're great.
these glasses are a bargain, but they will not last under continuous use. eventually every pair will develop a crack in the frame above one of the lenses and the lense will fall out.
