sure they filter the color, but they are very reflective so if you're working on a computer your eyes get more strained from seeing the reflections around you
i ordered these because they were cheap, and i was having some eye strain issues while working on projects.these glasses do, in fact, block blue light.however, the cheap plastic lenses reflect any light which is in your periphery or behind you, making it very hard to focus on the screen. this one flaw is major, and makes these more of a hindrance than helpful.only pro: they look kinda nice.would not recommend to anyone having eye strain issues.
as i wrote in the headline, i simply don't understand how people wear these glasses and don't get a headache. i probably should have known before purchasing $10 glasses, but hey, cut me some slack -- it's my first time buying blue-light glasses. i thought this would be feasible.these have so much glare that they are practically unwearable. you put them on, and you're staring at your eyeballs. these glasses are supposed to reduce eye strain, but due to the glare, they increase eye strain.i'm no ophthalmologist, but i promise you if you put on these glasses, you'll realize that they're stupid. if there is a doctor present, i would like them to prove me wrong.they're okay style-wise. actually, i really like the way they look. but at this point, take away the blue-light-blocking, just give me glasses. because right now, these are junk.
the glasses reflect everything on the inside of the glasses, it’s like i’m staring directly into my eyes. these are very cheap but i get a headache from 2 minutes of wearing them because i can’t focus between what’s in front of me, and what’s reflecting behind me.
they look nice and all but my eyes still feel strained after hours of use. not to mention that it sometimes feels impossible to get smudges out of the lenses even with eyewear cloths. i've used other brands that claim are made to block the blue light from screens and they indeed feel better than these, it's that they don't look better than these. i'd say this is more style than substance.
not comfortable because it punches the eyes in the nose part of face. hurts after long periods of time.passed the blue light test card thing! but others say that the card is not accurate since it is a violet light. when testing while looking at blue color light, the blue should turn black! this pair of glasses did not turn the blue black. also feels cheap and does not have blue tint. only yellow greenish tint.
so a bit of background first; i've worn glasses since i was 12. but i recently had lasik surgery performed and i no longer required glasses for 20/20 vision. what i hadn't anticipated after the surgery though was that i've worn glasses for so long, that i felt weird without them. plus i have beady eyes and i believe i look better with glasses. so i got these so i could have the option to wear glasses. these were inexpensive, i liked the styling, and i figured the blue light filter would help reduce eye strain because i spend a lot of time in front of a screen.i wore these pretty much the same as a prescription set of glasses. (a majority of the time) they were great for the first week or two, but they just don't hold up the same as a set of prescription glasses from your local optometrist. the plastic rim around the lenses ended up cracking about 2 or 3 weeks after purchase. pretty much falling apart after about 2 months. i also found the lenses themselves to scratch pretty easily.the blue light filter feature of these works great though. after wearing these all day (even when not in front of a screen) the difference after taking them off was quite noticeable.tldr: overall a good product that works as advertised, just beware these are not made to last and are best used as occasional or very light wear.
the glasses fit well, they look great and i think they’re effective in blocking blue light. the arms get a little uncomfortable behind the ears after some wear. i wear over ear headphones while gaming with these on and they tend to get quite uncomfortable after some time
i bought these because i am working on a computer all day and i have been feeling drained. (i don't work all day on computers typically). so i liked these. unfortunately, after only 2 hrs of using these, i started to have massive eye strain. almost as if they have a slight prescription. they are light, i like the way they sit and look. but i cannot wear for long
they look very cute, but they do absolutely nothing to help block blue light. it actually hurt my eyes more wearing them (because it puts a completely useless lens in front of your eyes), so that completely defeats the purpose of preventing eye strain. i do not recommend these! i tried to return them but missed my window. total bummer.
work at a computer that is hard on my eyes. after receiving these i instantly noticed the material felt super cheap. the glasses are way bigger than i imaged, they look really bad and weirdly big on your face when you wear them. they also don’t work. i tried wearing them for a week and noticed no difference on eye strain from looking at the computer all day.
