i absolutely loved this product initially. but after 35 days of use the wood grain on the bottom of diffuser has melted around the upper rim, which has now made it impossible to take the lid off to refill. disappointed because it was working great for the money.
i just plugged in read the manual 50 times to see if i’m missing something. first the mist is very low on the high setting. the timer is not working. it will not stop misting. tried remote nope still misting. tried to set on machine nope still misting. tried asking question seems i’m not the only one with issue. wasted my oil. very disappointed. definitely going to try to find a better one.update: finally got it to stop misting. however like i stated the mist is not high. i have an open concept apt where my dining room/kitchen/living room/lanai is all open. you can smell the scent when you are up on the mist. added more drops of oil. going to try to find another diffuser and place it in another area see if this helps.
this item is smaller than i expected. i really had no idea how much 500ml would be.the noise level is higher than i expected. i couldn't find information anywhere in the manual that states how many drops of essential oil to put in. it puts out a decent amount of mist and the scent level is good. i put 20 drops in. the lid can be difficult to remove when there is little or no water left in the unit. the intermittent and timing controls are only on the remote and not on the unit itself.overall, i think it is a good but not great diffuser/aromatherapy device.
if you take it to the sink to rinse and refill then you’ll find it difficult to plug the cord in on the bottom without spilling it. the cord should attach to the side. the toggle switches are difficult to know if they are in the proper position. the inside gets sticky and i find it necessary to use a dinner knife to pry the top off.i bought 3 of these and they all went to the landfill this morning!
what i liked:it's small and pretty quiet. if you walk out of a room you won't hear it, and in the room it has a gentle hum and some water sounds, which aren't too distracting. it doesn't make the air hazy like humidifiers, and the light is gentle. controls are intuitive; even without the remote you can turn the light or diffuser off by holding down the light or mist button for a few seconds. relatively inexpensive and easy to use and clean.what i didn't like:there's no way this diffuser can handle a 300 sq.ft. space. i was in a 7x10 office sitting 4 feet away from it and i had to lean into the mist to smell anything. unless you put so much essential oil that the mist starts billowing out in clouds you won't notice the scent at all, and even then it's still only really potent in a small room. on top of that, if you shut it off and let the water sit over night the oils seem to fade and even change a little, so you will constantly be adding more essential oils to get limited results.what i would suggest:-if you absolutely must have a this diffuser, get several and stock up on essential oil. otherwise, get a humidifier with an essential oil tray.-prop it up at least 3 feet above the ground. the bigger the room, the higher you should place it.
purchase in january use off and on work good lid hard to take off. by may the steam going down toward the floor. doesn't last long i won't buy a again.
