this device has hardware flaws. on top of that roku’s customer service people in india think they are doing a favor by answering their customer’s questions. netflix and youtube keeps crashing. roku blames your internet speed. ease of use is a problem if you want to find your local channels which are free.

continuously stops working, it closes the app’s and it has trouble to initiate every time you turn it on. many times it shows the video with no audio and you need to restart it.not a very effective streaming device.
although it is easy to use, this roku stick is very unstable. it overheats. it disconnects for no reason. sometimes the screen goes dark, but the voice keeps going. sometimes, when it disconnects, the settings of various apps are wiped out and i have to go back to the beginning and reset it, just like i would do with a new one.i have not had any of those issues with the other two roku streaming devices i own. this stick has issues! i do not like it!
the remote randomly unpairs, yes with fresh batteries. i use the app to re-pair the remote. now the app doesn't recognize the device on my network, so it's now useless to me. app forces you to see ads before being able to use it as a remote. roku has added more ads to the home screen. one of the things i liked originally was the uncluttered ui, but they ruined that.
if you want to verify this, just go to the roku support groups and search for it. so far, of the main streaming services, i have only been able to install netflix and apple tv - because these are in the main screen when searching for apps. there is no way to search for others prime, disney+, etc.). scanning all apps to visually search for these apps has not produced any positive results either. roku should publish a table in it's website showing the app code number for every channel available, so that at least we could add channels by using their code numbers.
only has netflix and apple tv, no disney plus no hulu no paramount not hbo max, no prime video, no search button either. what kind of streaming device is this i checked their website and this model should support all these apps and it doesn't really unsatisfied
