it doesn’t work it won’t connect to the wi-fi. everything else in my house connect to the wi-fi even the old roku i have that’s plug-in, this one is garbage, and unfortunately passed the end date to return it.
continuously stops working, it closes the app’s and it has trouble to initiate every time you turn it on. many times it shows the video with no audio and you need to restart it.not a very effective streaming device.
why do you offer 50 different devices doing the same thing. different price points, all doing the same thing. each is super buggy i've purchased 5 rokus over the past 3 years all have bugged out. just a terrible product, remote is terrible same remote for all devices, oddly they all suck. don't buy roku save money find something else.
i have 2 rokus and they both constantly have issue with the remote just ceasing to connect to/control the device. the remote will still control tv volume so i know it is not a battery issue. it is a device to remote connection problem and the fact that it happens with 2 different roku sticks bought a year apart, tells me its a larger product issue.
i had high hopes for the streaming stick, but it had intermittent remote response even with brand new batteries. the wi-fi and airplay performance was very poor, even with full signal. i wound up giving it to my in laws who will not use that feature. this does not compare to a roku ultra even older models. i’ve been purchasing rokus and fire sticks for years, and i would not recommend this device.
