i listened to the reviews that these run big so i ordered a smaller size which is too tight. my regular size would’ve probably worked. i am also 5‘4“ and the short are a tad long in flats but ultimately the length is ok but just know that i am only 5‘4“ and the short work for me in flats. i would recommend ordering your normal size. i weigh about 152 and the 10 were too tight for me though doable but ultimately not the comfort i was looking for. i’ll return these, but i don’t think i’ll get the size up. i’ll probably just pass on these.
i was hopeful since the reviews were pretty good with these jeans. i even sized up since i pretty much live in yoga pants. maybe i got a mistaken pair. i mean, right out of the box, i held them up and thought. no way these are going over my hips. now, in all fairness, they do go over my hips. i can even button them. but my stomach fat spills all over the place (and before you judge, i've lost 125lbs over the last 4 years).i'm convinced there's not a dang pair of jeans out there for me.
i almost feel guilty saying anything bad about these given the incredible price. however, they just didn’t work out for me. here’s why… i ordered the short length, and even the short length wouldn’t work for me unless i have some kind of heel on. (i’m 5’5”) also, the fabric just felt thin, cheap, and a little rough/scratchy. not super comfortable compared to my other jeans. i could look past the fabric if they looked and felt good on my body, but sadly, i just don’t think these jeans were doing me any favors. i have wide hips/rear, and i think these jeans just made everything look even wider. also, the rise wasn’t high enough to be comfortable. i feel like i’d be tugging these up quite often or looking like a plumber if i bent over. these look so good on some of the other reviewers, but sadly just didn’t work for me. for reference, i’m 5’5”, 130 lbs, 27” waist and 39” hips, and i ordered the 8 short.
