i had one of these before and it wasnt as light weight and uncomfy. its almost about to break. the cushions are really weird. i feel like i was sent a fake.
these headphones were really tight on the ears, and no amount of adjusting helped. i returned them because i couldn't comfortably use them. sound definitely came through them, but i couldn't wear them. maybe these would be good for a kid, but they didn't seem too sturdy, either. i don't know who these headphones are designed for.
just nope.spend a tad bit more and get sony mdr-zx310ap for some actual cushion if you want to stay sony and cheap. or philips over ears for $20. both are likely much more comfortable especially after a while.you can find similarly priced headphones elsewhere if you need just a pair of headphones these look like they have cushion but are not comfortable. they don't sound great either, but not horrible. a sad delivery from sony. spend a little more and get something comfortable and reasonable. even if you don't need the highest quality sound these just aren't it. i'm knew i was returning them as soon as i placed them on my head. the cushion isn't actually soft. rather weird it made it past any test group.
the sound is ok for $10, however these will get very uncomfortable in a short period of time. there is absolutely no padding anywhere except on the ears, and even the ear pieces don't feel or fit right. i have a cheap 20 year old set that i bought at walmart that eclipse these in every way. i'm surprised that sony even put their name on them.
very nice sounding headphones but annoying swivel connection renders this pair of headphones as nearly useless. they are quite uncomfortable after a few minutes.
i liked compactness which took up little room in luggage. wire was right length for airplane use. felt uncomfortable on ears after more than 1 hour use.
these headphones are cheap and worth even less. the ear cups are fixed so they fit terrible and are uncomfortable. the cable is short will just about reach to my computer from the desk chair. add to that terrible sound quality and your get a little less than you pay for with these. look elsewhere.
these were bought specifically to use for tv during red cross donations. they were fine, comfort is...okay, but what sticks out to me is that i had to have the main tv volume up a *lot* more for these than my old pair.tv volume measures from 0-100. old pair (amazon basics that aren't available anymore) only needed to be 20-21. these had to be at 45-50.i have no idea what that means in the broader spectrum, but im leaning to 'meh'.
sound quality is good for the price. but when you put it on your head, it is sooo tight. gives you a headache after wearing it for a few minutes. feels like it was made for children or midgets. i'll have to find a basketball or something in hopes of stretching it out.
all plastic. so, while you can raise and lower the ear pieces, you cannot adjust the headband itself. after awhile, they become very uncomfortable on my ears.
