gets the job done … but if you’re getting that “printing terminated” you have to remove that clear plastic tape around the role which i didn’t see in the instructions.
i was so excited to get this label maker and make labels for my traveling shampoo and conditioner bottles. well, the tape doesn’t stick on the plastic bottles!
this printer is really handy, prints quickly and has great features through the software but...i have bought two more of these printers (now returned) as gifts and both printers were defective right out of the box. grinding, crumpling tape, not printing or printing gibberish. not acceptable but...when it works it is a great little printer!
nothing special about this label maker other than it connects to your phone. the label tape is horrible and doesn’t stick to anything. it’s possible it was just the batch i have or it is poor quality overall.
how to use this thing is trail and error , no directions on exactly how to use it other then putting it together.. wish the tape was perforated down the middle .. lots and lots of practice
overall the product works fine. it does seem to require proprietary printer tape which is cumbersome and irritating. the software (once i figured out how to download it) is somewhat intuitive. so why did i give this product an overall low rating? let me answer that with a question: why the hell does the software need access to: call logs, location data, photos/videos and basically the entirety of the contents of my phone? oh and the software won't let the device print until it gets access (i tried). i literally just want the damn thing to print some labels for a few jam jars, so i have no idea why it needs my photo collection, birth certificate, colonoscopy results and list of my top 10 celebrity crushes to do that one job that seems like a fairly basic task: turn digital text into sticky analog text.
