i purchased this laptop case to protect my new 16-inch macbook pro, but i think this case is just ok. while it fits well and offers decent protection with its cushioning, it's much bulkier than i expected, making it less portable. the yellow color is also not accurately represented in the product images - it's more of an ugly beige (think: your dad's worn-out kahki pants). the case does have a pocket, which is a plus and why i originally purchased this. overall, i wouldn't recommend this case to others, despite its decent quality. i'm giving it 3 stars for its protective features, but the bulkiness, color, and design are major drawbacks.if i had a smaller laptop and purchased a different color, i might feel differently.
i got this case because i thought it was thin and had end protectors. turns out it is very bulky and the corner protectors are none existing. the inside of the bag is very soft and doesn't scratch your laptop. the corners doesn't have a hard protector material, you will for sure bust your laptop if you drop it on one of the corners. so if you are looking for a thin bag that still offers protection against fall, this is not it.
i like this sleeve but it’s too big for my surface 13.5” laptop - there’s a good amount of extra room, which makes it bulky. i kept it because i needed it that day but now i’m looking for a better option.
i bought this for my 2018 ipad pro (the large size). while i was pleased by the quality of the sleeve, it ended up being much too big to hold my ipad securely. it shook around inside and added a considerable amount of bulk. it was good--but not what i wanted--so i sent it back.
so, i've been hunting for a case for my macbook pro 13 for some time now. i find the clip on cases to be useless because they can cause over heating, barely protects and more are not that great quality. with that said, i decided to give this one a shot.i'll start with the pros:1) case feels sturdy and good quality.2) i can set my macbook on top of is and it doesn't lose its shape.3) truly feels like the material will protect my laptop, and the interior is soft and the edges don't protect, but also prevent it from rubbing against the zipper. which is a must now-a-days.4) zippers are nice quality.5) good to carry around if you are only carrying this around because the protection.now for the cons:1) my mac fits too snuggly, it takes some time to get it in there properly, i have to pull the edges around the corners for it to secure. my mac also rests somewhat on them... kind of defeating the purpose.3) the case is bulkier than anticipated, i thought it would be somwehat of a smaller profile, but it isn't. i find that it's almost bulkier than some because the interior.4) the pocket on the outside is not functional. it's small and tight. you won't be able to fit much in there whilst your laptop is in there too.5) not great to put in backpacks.full disclosure: i am returning it because it doesn't fit my daily carry needs. now if you are a minimalist (which i am not) and travel light, or just with your laptop and necessary small essentials on the go, than this will work for you. i carry several things in my pack, like my ipad, textbooks, switch, headphones, etc. this interfered in my bag too much, i could feel it protruding from the sleeve.cheers!
fabric is thin, and once you remove stuffing foam in outer sleeve, it is wrinkly . inner padding is robust but strange, overly bulky ..feels cheap but flaws are in the design, the construction is ok.
so, this isn't a terrible case, the design is pretty decent and the build quality seems good. however, i purchased this for use with my macbook pro 15 mid 2015 and it's just really bulky. sure it has 360 degree protection, but that's kind of just a giant fluffy (and bulky) ring of material that surrounds your entire laptop. i understand that this is a universal laptop case, but i just wouldn't say it really fits the macbook pro. sure, it fits inside of the case, but is really bulky for the size of the laptop.at least part of the advantage of a mac laptop is the thinness, and this case effectively doubles that while adding on a couple of inches in each direction. i just personally don't like holding it, it feels like a bulky pillow that i'm carrying around.now, for the positives. it's half the price of an incase, booq, or similar that is specifically designed for the macbook pro. however, that sure should be the case due to economies of scale considering that this case fits probably dozens of laptops. the protection seems good and the build quality seems fine. also, the pocket is a nice large size and fits plenty of items, so that's a definite plus.i think it comes down to one question, if bulkiness doesn't really matter that much to you and you want a cheaper laptop sleeve, this is probably a good choice. if maintaining the sleekness of your macbook pro matters, i'd avoid this particular one.
the design is for a old macbook pro and the description is misleading because it states that it is for the new 15 inch macbook with touchbar. essentially, they put an extra strip of filler to account for the smaller dimensions. thus it becomes too bulky ..
