i bought this lighter last summer as a solution for lighting stuff while paddle-boarding. it survived a swim or two but the design isn't rugged enough for long term use. with its cost i expected it to outlast at least 2 bic lighters but the clasp that holds it together broke after only a few months of every day carry. i learned the hard way that a full pocket is not the ideal place to carry this lighter and it went off in my pants multiple times. that wasn't really an issue before the clasp broke as it just prematurely drains battery but after the clasp broke it went off on more than one occasion burning a hole in my pocket. i would not recommend this product for anyone hoping to replace a normal lighter for everyday use
lasted only a few months of occasional use. will not charge.was great while it was working. the flashlight was bright. the lighter lit. the wind was no match. the darkness was no more. just wished it didn't quit so soon.
